BROWN, second Party. This Agreement is based upon the following pre_.iises: a. The CITY is in need of inspection services of a technical nature. b_. John J. Brown is willing, to radertakw this work for the City. c. . City desires to employ Johan J. BroEn for such purposes. Now, therefore, it is agreed as follows: 1. Term of Agreement. This Agreement shall continue in full force and effect until terminated by either party. 2. Termination. This agreement may be terminated by either party on thirty days notice in writing to the other. 3. Duties. John J. Brown shall perform such services as may from time to time be delegated to hLu by the City Council, the City Manager, the Director of Public Works or the Chief Building Inspector. 4. Consideration. As consideration for the pe..•- of this Agreement, John J. B=wn shall be City the sum of $795.00 per :ronth, payable during the term hereof, and as long as John . shall perform his obligations hereunder, or and John J. Brown shall change the amount of sud_ compensation by mutual agreement.
