HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 025-1969RESOLUTION NO. 25 -69 COMMENDING THE AMERICAN LEGION ON ITS 50th ANNIVERSARY WHEREAS, on March 15, 16 and 17, 1919, the first meeting of The American Legion was held in the American Club, 4 Rue Gabriel, Paris, France; and WHEREAS, The American Legion, as an organization of veterans of American servicemen associated to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, has been a vital force in American life for the past half century; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that it commends and congratulates The American Legion on this occasion of its 50th Birthday. r 77' L Mayo G� I.
