AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CITY SIDEWALK REPAIR
PROGRAM 1967 - 1968
Job No. 67-15
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation of
bids for certain works of public improvement, to -wit: approximate-
ly 22,000 square feet of sidewalk replacement, driveway and curb
and gutter replacement, all at miscellaneous locations throughout
the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, on September 12, 1967, all bids received were
opened before the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, MORRIS PEIRA, an individual doing business under
the fictitious name and style of U. PEIRA & SON, submitted the low-
est responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of $16,818.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of MORRIS PEIRA, an individual doing business under
the fictitious name and style of U. PEIRA & SON, for the sum of
$16,818.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work of improvement, and
that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a

September, 1967, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
