A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
POLICE STATION ALTERATIONS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, that:
WHEREAS, said Council has authorized an invitation of
bids for the alteration to the Police Station and all appurtenant
work; and
WHEREAS, on April 9, 1970, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk, the City Manager, the Chief of Police and
the architect employed by the City of Burlingame to prepare plans
and specifications for said work of construction; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bid was that of MAYTA &
JENSON, a corporation, in the sum of $4,994.00; and
WHEREAS, alternate bids were also advertised for, opened
and examined;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That the City Council hereby rejects all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing said work of construction to the
lowest responsible bidder, to -wit
for the bid of $4,994.00.
iKAYTA & JENSEN, a corporation,
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby author-
ized to make and enter into a written contract with said success-
ful bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection
therewith, and the Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest
his signature and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said City
Mayor

I, HERBERT K. W`r1ITE, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
20th day of April 1970, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen:Amstrup-Crosby-Johnson-Martin.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
Absent Councilmen: None.
