Home My WebLink AboutReso - CC - 008-1968RESOLUTION NO, 8-68 FIXING AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS$ SALARIES AND RATES OF PAY OF EMPLOYEES IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME The City Council of the City of Burlingame$ California, does RESOLVE as follows: 1, The classifications of employees within the classified service of the City of Burlingame on the first day of March, 1968, and their salaries, compensation or rates of pay, are hereby fixed and established as set forth in Exhibit A. attached to this Resolution, which exhibit is hereby incorporated in and made a part of this Resolution by reference, 2, Employees shall be paid at the step in these exhibits in the range at which they are now established, 3, The Patrolman assigned to duty of operating a motorcycle shall receive extra compensation of thirty-five ($35,00) dollars per month, 4, The Patrolman assigned to duty as Director of Traffic shall receive extra compensation of fifty ($50,00) dollars per month, S. The Patrolman assigned to duty as Inspector of Police, Detective, or Juvenile Officer shall receive extra compensation at the rate of fifty ($50,00) dollars per month, 6, The Fireman assigned to duty as Equipment Mechanic's Helper shall receive extra compensation at the rate of thirty-five ($35,00) dollars per month. 7, The Fireman assigned to duty as Electrician's Helper shall receive extra compensation at the rate of thirty-five ($35,00) dollars per month, 8. The person designated to make a stenographic record of pro- ceedings at the Council meetings shall receive such compensation as the City Council may from time to time provide by resolution. 9. The Park Department job classification assigned to extra responsibility for supervisory duties of medium tree maintenance crew in addition to his regular duties shall receive extra compensa- tion at the rate of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars per month. 10. The rates of pay set forth in the foregoing schedule repre- sent the standard monthly rate of compensation in terms of dollars per month based upon full employment except for the City Attorney whose rate of compensation is based upon part-time employment and who may be paid such additional compensation as the City Council may fix and determine.
