HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 022-1970`IJML:KJmh 3-13-70-20 RESOLUTION NO. 22 -70 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS BURLINGAME AVENUE AREA OFF-STREET PARKING DISTRICT PROJECT NO. 1969-1 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, that the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention of said Council to make certain changes and modifications in the proceedings and in the Engineer's Report filed pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 79-69 adopted by this Council on October 6, 1969, as subsequently amended, as follows: 1. Change and modify the acquisitions to be made, the work to be done and the plans and specifications therefor, as follows, to wit: a) Eliminate the acquisition of a pedestrian access to Burlingame Avenue from the Donnelly Avenue lots, comprised of the southwesterly 15 feet of Diagram and Assessment No. 79 (County Assessor's Parcel No. 29-152-17), and substitute in place thereof either of the following two alternative locations: i. The acquisition of a pedestrian access to Burlingame Avenue from the Donnelly Avenue lots comprised of the northeasterly 15 feet of Diagram and Assessment No. 81 (County Assessor's Parcel No. 29-152-20); or ii. The acquisition of a pedestrian access to Burlingame Avenue from the Donnelly Avenue lots comprised of the southwesterly 15 feet of Diagram and Assessment No. 80 (County Assessor's Parcel No. 29-152-19). All of the lots and parcels of land and proposed. parking lots referred to herein are shown on the acquisi- tion map which is part of the Engineer's Report on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made. 2. Change and modify the assessment and diagram to show an assessment against that portion of Diagram and Assessment No. 79 heretofore proposed to be acquired, and to remove any assessment from that portion of either Diagram and Assessment No. 80 or Diagram and Assessment No. 81 ordered to be acquired as said pedestrian access. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the 6th day of April, 1970, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting place of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Burlingame, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said Council will consider the matter of ordering said changes and modifications and hearing all protests and persons interested therein. The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this Resolution to be pub- lished once in the Burlingame Advance -Star, a newspaper of general circulation published in said City and the paper in which the Notice of Improvement under said Resolution of Intention was published, and to be mailed to all property owners where assessments are in- creased, said publication to be at least ten days before said day of hearing, and said mailing to be at least twenty days before said hearing date. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 16th day of March, 1970, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Amstrup-Crosby-Johnson-Martin.
