AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WALK - DON'T WALK PEDES-
TRIAN SIGNALS - BURLINGAME AVENUE AND PRIMROSE
ROAD
Job No. 67-40
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the invitation of
bids for the installation of four (4) new traffic signal heads with
eight (8) Walk - Don't Walk signals and all appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1968, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, BERGESEN ELECTRIC, a corporation, submitted the
lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$1,376.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of BERGESEN ELECTRIC, a corporation, for the sum of
$1,376.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work of installation and
that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
15th day of January, 1968, and adopted thereafter by the fol-
lowing vote:
