RESOLUTION NO. 62-72
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING MAKING OF AMENDED
ASSESSMENT RE .CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS UNDER
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 63-59
EAST MILLSDALE INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2
ASSESSMENT NOS. 62 and 151
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, San
Mateo County, California, that
WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and filed with
the City Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 63-59, adopted by the City Council of said City on July 20, 1959�
and the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, and said
assessment was confirmed by said Council on August 3, 1959, and
recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City;
and
WHEREAS, certain lots or parcels of land upon which there are
unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under the
Improvement Bond Act of 1915, have been divided so that they no
longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on said
assessment; and
WHEREAS, Section 8730 and following of the Streets and Highways
Code require the legislative body to fix the amount of costs and fees
for preparing the amended assessment, the notice and the amended
assessment diagram; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the total cost of pre-
paring the necessary resolutions, notice, publications and amended
assessment for the above will be $ 235.00
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that:
1. The City Engineer shall cause .to be prepared and filed with
the City Clerk a report and amended assessment and diagram of the
lots or parcels so divided, said parcels being designated Assessment
Nos. 62 and 151.
2. That the unpaid installments of said original assessments
shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the bene-
fits to the several parts of the original lots or parcels and the
total amount of the assessments of the several portions of the
original lots or parcels shall be equal to the unpaid assessments
upon said original lots or parcels of land.
3. That said Engineer shall apportion said fees among the
divided assessments against the parcels and shall notify the
owners of the original parcel assessed (as the names of said
owners appear on the last equalized roll for taxes, or as it is
known to said Engineer) of the order of said Council fixing the
costs and fees of the apportionment and directing that payment
thereof be made to the City Treasurer within 15 days of the noti-
fication. In the event that the fees are not paid within 15 days
of the notification, the Engineer shall prepare the amended
assessment, and shall show thereon, but as part of the total, the
amount of costs and fees chargeable to each divided parcel. All
such fees shall be deposited in the Treasury.
4. It is further ordered that the City Treasurer disburse
said funds as follows:
a. To the Attorney preparing the legal documents on such
segregation the sum of $150.00; and
b. The remainder to be used to pay the cost of preparing
the report and amended assessment diagram, publishing the Notice of
Hearing and such other costs as may be necessary.
5. That Monday, the 6_th day _of_Novembeb 1972, at the hour
of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting place of said Council,
Council Chambers,City Hall, Burlingame, California, be, and the
same are hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing said
amended assessment before said Council.
6. That the City Clerk of said City shall advertise the time
and place of such hearing before the Council by publishing a notice
of said amended assessment twice in the Advance Star, a newspaper
of general circulation published and circulated in said City, the
first publication being not less than fifteen (15) days before
said hearing.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 18th day of September, , 1972, by
the following vote:
