AWARDING CONTRACT FOR LANDSCAPING
OF BURLINGAME AVENUE
BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND CALIFORNIA DRIVE
JOB NO. 5371
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
of bids for the landscaping of Burlingame Avenue between E1 Cam
Real and California Drive, public streets in the City of
Burlingame, generally consisting of trees, plants and topsoil f
all as shown on the drawings and as described in the specifica-
tions on file in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1972, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and Ronald A. Perner, Architect -
Consultant to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Munkdale Bros., Inc., a corporation submitted
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$13,988.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED that the bid of MUNKDALE BROS., INC., a corporation, for
the sum of $13,988.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to
approve the faithful performance bond and labor and materials

bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of
Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
17th day of July 1972, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
