RESOLUTION NO. 5-72
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE
CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
BURLINGAME AVENUE AREA OFFSTREET
PARKING DISTRICT
PROJECT NO. 1969-1
AIR RIGHTS LEASE PLUS SECOND PARKING DECK
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, that the public interest, convenience and necessity
require and that it is the intention of said Council to make changes
and modifications in the acquisitions and improvements approved pur-
suant to Resolution of Intention No. 79-69 adopted by this Council
on October 6, 1969, as follows:
Delete the acquisition of the Post Office parking lot (identi-
fied in the proceedings to form the Burlingame Avenue Area
Offstreet Parking District as Parcels l-E and 6-E) with about
70 feet of frontage on Lorton Avenue and 150 feet of depth;
and substitute in place thereof the acquisition or construc-
tion of a second deck of public motor vehicle parking facili-
ties in the air space over Parking Lot C, as described in said
proceedings to form the Burlingame Avenue Area Offstreet Park-
ing District, fronting on Donnelly Avenue, said second deck to
be in addition to the proposed deck of private motor vehicle
parking facilities generally contemplated by the proposed
lease of parking lot air space over said Parking Lot C, on
file in the office of the City Clerk.
Said changes will have no effect on the cost of the acquisitions
and improvements.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the 7th day of February,
1972, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., in the regular meeting place
of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Burlingame, California,
are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said Council
will consider the matter of making said changes and modifications
and hearing all protests and persons interested therein.
The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this resolution to be pub-
lished once in the Burlingame Advance -Star, a newspaper of general
circulation published in said City and the paper in which the Notice
of Improvement under said Resolution of Intention was published, said
publication to be at least ten days before said day of hearing.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 17th day of January , lg 72 ,
by the following vote:
