AWARDING CONTRACT
WASHINGTON PARK TENNIS COURT
JOB NO. '72 - 6
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
bids for approximately 24,805 square feet of tennis court sur-
facing and appurtenant work in the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, on May 24, 1972, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, MALOT & PETERSON-GRUNDY, a corporation, submi
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$5,186.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of MALOT & PETERSON-GRUNDY, a corporation, for the
sum of $5,186.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to approve the
faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond required
to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day
