AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO BAYSIDE PARK
PHASE II
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
of bids for grading, asphalt; paving, sanitary sewer, chain link
fencing, bleachers, restroom building, concession building,
electrical, irrigation, topsoil, planting and 60 day maintenance;
and
WHEREAS, on June 14, 1972, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk, the Director of Public Works; and a repre-
sentative of Royston, Hanamoto, Beck & Abey, landscape architects
and consultants to the City; and
WHEREAS, Sorensen & Marsh, Inc., a corporation, submitte,
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$81,136.60;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of Sorensen & Marsh, Inc., a corporation, for the sw
of $81,136.60 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the
City Manager be and he is hereby authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract, and to ap-
prove the faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day
of June , 1972, and adopted thereafter by the follow-
ing vote:
