AWARDING CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM FOR
THE INTERSECTION OF PARK ROAD AND HOWARD AVENUE

JOB NO. 72-8
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
of bids for the installation of a traffic signal system at the
intersection of Park Road and Howard Avenue, public streets in tY
City of Burlingame, including loop controller, loop detector and
other appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, on June 14, 1972, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, INC., a corporation submit
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$14,283.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of ROSENDIN ELECTRIC, a corporation, for the sum of
$14,283.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that
the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on be-
half of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to
approve the faithful performance bond and labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day of
June, 1972, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
