AWARDING CONTRACT - BURLINGAME AVENUE OFFSTREET
PARKING DISTRICT
JOB NO. 71 - 5
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation of
bids for approximately 12,031 square feet of new parking lot con-
struction, minor existing parking lot construction, and all ap-
purtenant work; and
WHEREAS, on April 14, 1971, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, ANZA PACIFIC CORP., a corporation, submitted the
lowest bid for doing said work for the sum of $12,974.95;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of ANZA PACIFIC CORP., a corporation, for the sum of
$12,974.95 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into be-
tween the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to approve the
faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond required
to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 19th day of
April, 1971, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
