AWARDING CONTRACT -
RESURFACING BURLINGAME AVENUE
JOB NO. 73-
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for bids for resurfacing Burlingame Avenue, consisting of heater
re -mix method of resurfacing approximately 70,100 square feet of
pavement with 10 pounds per square foot of asphalt concrete and
appurtenant work to be accomplished on Sundays only; and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 1973, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, THE LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC., A
CORPORATION,
submitted the lowest bid for doing said work for the sum of
q 17,712.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED, that the bid of THE LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC., A
CORPORATION,
for the sum of $ 17,712.00
accepted.
be, and the same is hereby,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf

of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to ap-
prove the faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 6th day of June, 1973, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
