HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 029-1972RESOLUTION NO. 29 - 72 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLIN- TOPICS PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of this City has been advised by the Director of Public Works of the State of California that in accordance with the recommendations of the TOPICS ADVISORY COMMITTEE, the share of the apportionment of California federal TOPICS funds is: For fiscal year 1971-1972 $ 21,592.00 For fiscal year 1972-1973 21,592.00 WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council adopt its resolution obligating the foregoing apportionments; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that the funds to be received from such appor- tionment shall be expended upon the construction of one or more of the following improvements projects, or upon such other improve- ment project or projects as may qualify under the provisions of Chapter 1141 of the Statutes of 1969, and as may be determined by the City Council: 1. Traffic signal improvements on E1 Camino Real at Bayswater Avenue. 2. Traffic signal improvements and street reconstruction at E1 Camino Real and Adeline Drive. 3. Traffic signal improvements at E1 Camino Real and Hillside Drive. 4. Traffic signal improvements at E1 Camino Real and Sanchez Avenue. 5. Street widening on Rollins Road and Edwards Court. 6. Pedestrian crossing of the Freeway State Route 101 at Broadway. 7. Traffic signal improvements at E1 Camino Real and Broadway. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Burlingame will provide for the cost of any of the foregoing improvement projects which it may construct to the extent that such cost is not to be reimbursed from federal funds. -1- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this reso- lution be forwarded by the City Clerk to the Department of Public Works of the State of California.
