AWARDING CONTRACT - VICTORIA PARK IMPROVEMENTS
JOB NO. 71-3
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation of
bids for 7,070 square feet of basketball court, 2,400 + square
feet of asphalt concrete walkway, 294 linear feet of 6' chainlink
fence, and appurtenant work, all at Victoria Park; and
WHEREAS, on February 24, 1971, all bids received were
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, ANZA PACIFIC CORP., a corporation, submitted the
lowest bid for doing said work for the sum of $12,890.05
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of ANZA PACIFIC CORP., a corporation, for the sum of
$12,890.05 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the Cit!
of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to approve the
faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond required t(
be furnished by the contractor.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15 day of
March 1971, and adopted thereafter by the follow-
ing vote:
