RECOMMENDING ADDITION OF SKYLINE BOULEVARD,
CAROLAN AVENUE AND AIRPORT BOULEVARD TO
SELECT STREET SYSTEM
WHEREAS, a select system of streets for this city has been
established in accordance with Sections 186.3 and 186.4 of the
Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted to this Council a
report and map in which are recommended certain additions to the
select system, which are warranted by changes brought about by
annexations, changes in traffic or land use patterns or other
causes of equal necessity which have occurred since the system was
established or last amended; and
WHEREAS, this Council finds the recommended select system
additions to be necessary for the expenditure of apportioned
ighway Users Tax Funds in the manner and in accordance with the
sions of the Statutes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Council does adopt
said report and map, and in accordance with the provisions of
ion 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Code does hereby peti
California Department of Public Works to approve the select
system additions set forth therein together with such modificati
as the Department may find to be necessary to conform to statutory
requirements.
