AWARDING CONTRACT
RESURFACING MISCELLANEOUS CITY STREETS - ASPHALT
CONCRETE OVERLAY

WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for
bids for the resurfacing of miscellaneous city streets with asphalt overlay;
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1974, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC., submitted
the lowest bid for doing said work, including two alternate bids, for
the sum of $37, 549. 50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED, that the bid of LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC., for the
sum of $37, 549. 50, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of
Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City Manager
be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the City of
Burlingame to execute said contract, and to approve the faithful perform-
ance bond and labor and materials bond required to be furnished by the
contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of December, 1974,
and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
