AWARDING CONTRACT
LANDSCAPING RECREATION BUILDING ADDITIONS AND ALTERATIONS
JOB NO. 74- 16
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for
bids for the landscaping of additions to the Recreation Building
at 850 Burlingame Avenue;
WHEREAS, on October L6, 1974, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR H. SHOOTER COMPANY, submitted the Lowest
bid for doing said work, including four alternate bids, for
the sum of $17,239.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED,
that the bid of ARTHUR H. SHOOTER COMPANY, for the sum of
$17,239.00, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract, and to

approve the faithful performance bond and labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 4th
day of November 1974, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
