RESOLUTION NO. 19-73
RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BURLINGAME TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION OF
HILLSIDE DRIVE, LOS ALTOS DRIVE, LOS MONIES DRIVE, ALTURAS
DRIVE, LA MESA DELVE AND NEWTON DRIVE WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY OF THE
COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, State of
California, that
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo has filed
with this Council a certified copy of its resolution declaring a portion
of Hillside Drive, et al. within the corporate limits of the City of Burlingame
as a County highway, pursuant to Section 1700 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, consent of the governing body of the city involved, that is,
the City of Burlingame, is required prior to the effectiveness of the
establishment of a city street as a county highway pursuant to Section 1701
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that a portion of Hillside Drive,
et al. within the corporate limits of the City of Burlingame be declared a
County highway:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DETERMINED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT consent be, and is hereby, granted to the County of San Mateo to
the establishment of that portion of Hillside Drive, et al. within the corporate
limits of the City of Burlingame, and more particularly described as shown in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to be a County highway of the County of San Mateo

in conjunction with the proposed resurfacing of Hillside Drive from Alvarado
Avenue to Skyline Boulevard.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Burlingame at a regular meeting
held on February 20 , 1973, by the following vote:
