DECLARING FIRE APPARATUS SURPLUS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
and it does hereby find and determine as follows:
1. The used fire apparatus hereinafter particularly
cribed is surplus to the needs of the City of Burlingame and it is
necessary and convenient that it be disposed of for cash at the
best sales prices obtainable.
2. The Chief of the Fire Department be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed, with the concurrence of the City Manager
as to amount, to sell said fire apparatus at the best sales prices
obtainable, either as a lot, or separately, and on behalf of the
City to execute any instrument of transfer or other document neces
sary or convenient to implement such sales.
3. The 3 pieces of fire apparatus herein authorized to
be sold are particularly described as follows:
(1) 1949 Van Pelt Squad
