DECLARING RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION

WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election was held in the City of
Burlingame, on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, 1974, and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly given
as required by law; that voting precincts were duly established; that
election officers were appointed and voting supplies furnished, and in
every respect and manner the said election was held and conducted, and the
votes cast were received within the time, and manner prescribed by the
law of the State of California controlling elections in general law cities
and
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame duly convened
at the usual place on Tuesday, the 12th day of March, 1974, to canvass the
returns of said election and install the newly elected officers, and as a
result of such canvass, the said City Council finds that the number of
votes cast, the persons for whom such vote was cast, and all other matters
required by law, are as hereinafter stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said election held in
the City of Burlingame on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, 1974, was
conducted in the time, manner and form required by the law of the State
of California governing elections in general law cities.
That there were fifteen (15) voting precincts established for
the purpose of holding said election, said precincts being a consolidation
of the regular election precincts established for holding State and County
elections and were consolidated as follows:
Consolidated Voting Precinct "1" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 8, 9 and 10, and the voting place thereof
shall be at Lutheran Church rellowa )+ip lall, 301 nurlinga;ne Avenue.
Consolidated voting Precinct "2" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 11 and 32, and the voting place thereof
shall be at the Recreation Center, 850 Burlingame Avenue.
Consolidated Voting Precinct, 113" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 33, 34 and 40, and the voting place thereo,
shall be at Bergstrom Rumpus Room, 809 Winchester Drive.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "11" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 24, 26 and 39, and the voting place thereof
shall be at Fire Station #2,.-Hillside Drive near Newton Drive.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "12" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 22, 23 and 28, and the voting place
thereof shall be at Lincoln School, 1801 Devereux Drive.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "13" shall. comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 4 and 27, and the voting place thereof
shall be at the Burlingame Intermediate School Auditorium,
1715 Quesada Way.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "14" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 29 and 37, and the voting place thereof
shall be at the Burlingame Intermediate School Auditorium,
1715 Quesada Way.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "15" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 30, 31 and 38, and the voting place
thereof shall be at Franklin School, 2385 Trousdale Drive.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "4" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 2, 3 and 7, and the voting place thereof
shall be at the City Hall, 501 Primrose Road.

Consolidated Voting Precinct "5" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 5 and 6, and the voting place thereof
shall be at Pershing School, Newlands and Crescent Avenues.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "G". shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 12, 13 and.15, and the voting place
thereof shall be at McKinley School, Fairfield Road and El Camino
Real.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "7" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 1, 14 and 36, and the voting place thereof
shall be at McKinley School, Fairfield Road and El Camino Real.
Consolidated Voting Precinct 118" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 16, 25 and 35, and the voting place
thereof shall be at Roosevelt School, Vancouver Avenue near
Broadway.
Consolidated Voting Precinct 119" shall comprise State and
County Precinct numbers 19 and 20, and the voting place thereof
shall be at Presbyterian 1Music Room, Main Building, 1308 Balboa h.ve.

Consolidated Voting Precinct "loll shall comprise Statc and
County Precinct numbers 17, 18 and 21, and the voting place
thereof shall be at Coolijge E]rhoe)., Grove and Palo.aa Avenues.
That the total number of
votes cast
in said consolidated precincts was 3520.
That at each
consolidated precinct,
the total vote
east, the number

That at said General Municipal Election, William J. Crosby and A.C. "Bud"
Harrison were elected Councilmen, City of Burlingame for the full term of
four (4) years.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the foregoing
resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 12th day of March, 1974, and adopted thereafter by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Amstrup, Crosby, Cusick, Mangini, Martin.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None.
