RESOLUTION NO. 14 -75
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING FILING OF APPLICATION
WITH SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSIT DISTRICT
FOR DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR
TRANSPORTATION REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, Article 4 (commencing with Section 99260) of
Chapter 4 of Part 11 of Division 10 of the Public Utilities Code
(the Mills-•Alquist-Deddeh Act) provides for the disbursement of
funds from the local transportation fund of the County of San
Mateo for use of qualified municipal applicants to meet capital

and operating requirements for the planning, construction,
maintenance and operation of public transportation systems and
for public transportation research and demonstration grants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

THE CITY OF BURLINGAME, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to file a claim pursuant to the provisions of. Article 4 of
Chapter 4 of Part 11 of Division 10 of the Public Utilities Code,'
together with all necessary supporting documents, with the
San Mateo County Transit District for funds to be used for
continued operation and maintenance of the Burlingame Transit
system in accordance with the aforesaid Mills-Alquist-Deddeh Act
during fiscal year Julv 1, 1975 through June 30, 1976.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the San Mateo
County Transit District to help substantiate the District's
claim to the Metropolitan. Transportation Commission.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 3rd day of March 1975, and adopted
thereafter by the following vote:
