RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT MORE THAN NINETY PER CENT (90%)
OF THE BURLINGAME CITY STREET SYSTEM HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame as follows:
WHEREAS, Section 186.3(d) of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California provides that funds received pursuant to Sections 2106
and 2107 of the Streets and Highways Code may be used by a city for acquisition
of rights -of -way and construction of city streets not within the select
system when it is determined that the select system of a city or all of the
streets of a city are more than ninety per cent (90%) constructed; and
WHEREAS, such circumstances do exist within the City of Burlingame
and it is necessary and desirable that an appropriate resolution be passed by
this Council so that Sections 2106 and 2107 funds may be utilized for acquisi-
tion of rights -of -way and construction of city streets not within the select
system;
NOW, THEREFORE it is hereby RESOLVED AND DETERMINED and, upon
consideration of the report of the Director of Public Works,it is the finding
of this Council that ninety per cent (90%) of the City Streets of the City
of Burlingame have been constructed; and the City Clerk is directed to file a
copy of this resolution with the Department of Transportation of the State of
California.
