FIXING ASSESSMENT FOR WEED AND
RUBBISH ABATEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has filed with the City Clerk a report
of the cost of the weed and rubbish abatement pursuant to Resolution No.
28-76 of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk, pursuant to the requirements of law,has
posted a copy of such report near the entrance of the City Hall, together with
a notice of the filing thereof and of the time and place when and where it will
be submitted to the City Council for confirmation, and a like notice was pub-
lished twice in the BOUTIQUE AND BURLINGAME VILLAGER; and
WHEREAS, the posting and first publication of said notice was made
and completed at least ten (10) days before the time such report shall have
been submitted to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for receiving and considering
this report, the City Council heard the same and there were no persons appear-
ing who objected to the filing and adoption of said report and no modification
of the proposed assessments was requested;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the
said report of the City Engineer heretofore filed be, and the same hereby is,
adopted and confirmed and the amounts therein assessed shall constitute a
special assessment against each respective lot or parcel of land therein set
forth and shall also constitute a lien on such property for the amount of such
assessment until paid.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 16thday of August, 1976, and adopted thereafter
by the following vote:
