HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 032-1976RESOLUTION NO. 32- 76 AWARDING CONTRACT WALKWAY AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS - PARK DEPARTMENT CORPORATION YARD JOB NO. 75-16 WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids for Walkway and Related Improvements - Park Department Corporation Yard (Job No. 75-16); and WHEREAS, on March 31, 1976, all bids received were opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and WHEREAS, ASPHALT PAVING COMPANY submitted the lowest bid for per- forming said work under Alternate I for the sum of $24,531.00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the bid of ASPHALT PAVING COMPANY for Alternate I in the amount of $24,531.00 be,a the same is hereby, accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve the faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond required to be furnished by the contractor. Mayor EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, does hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the nth day of April, 1976, and adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Amstrup-Crosby-Flarrison-Mangini-Martin NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: ;done 4/2/76 C' y Clerk
