DECLARING NOXIOUS AND DANGEROUS WEEDS AND RUBBISH
A NUISANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH MUNICIPAL CODE
CHAPTER 11.08
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, all weeds growing upon any private property or in any
public street, lane, way or alley, within the City, and bearing seeds of a
wingy or downy nature or which, because of having attained such a large growth
and being dry shall become a fire menace or which are otherwise noxious or
dangerous, and all rubbish, refuse, or dirt on parkways, sidewalks or private
property; and
WHEREAS, said weeds, rubbish and refuse constitute a public nuisance;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that said weeds do now con-
stitute and will continue to constitute a public nuisance; and it is ordered
that the said public nuisance be abated in the manner provided by law, and that
such nuisance exists upon all the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, avenues,
courts, parkways, private property and places within the City of Burlingame.
The properties upon which said nuisance exists are all of the streets,
squares, lanes, alleys, courts, avenues, parkways, places and private property
ithin said City, as shown, described and delineated on the several maps of the
ity which are recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of
an Mateo, reference in each instance for the description of any particular
treets or property being hereby made to the several maps aforesaid, and, in
he event of there being several subdivision maps upon which the same lots are
hown, reference is hereby made to the latest subdivision map.
And it is ordered that Monday, the 15th day of March, 1976, at the
our of eight o'clock p.m., of said day, at the Council Chambers of the City
f Burlingame, located in the City Hall of said City, be, and the same is
ereby fixed as the time and place when objections to the proposed removal of
uch weeds shall be heard and given due consideration.

The Superintendent of Streets of said City of Burlingame is
hereby ordered and directed to cause notice of said hearing to be given in
the time, manner and form provided by law.
HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk, does hereby certify that the fore-
going resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 17th day of February, 1976, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
