AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
RECORDS, DOCUMENTS, AND PAPERS
WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of
California provides that with the approval of the legislative body by resolu-
tion, and with the consent of the City Attorney, the head of a city department
may destroy any city record, document, instrument, book or paper not less than
five (5) years old, under his charge, without making a copy thereof, after the
same is no longer required, with certain exceptions not here of concern; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Building Inspector has recommended the destruction,
of certain records more particularly described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California
does hereby RESOLVE and determine as follows:
1. Pursuant to Sections 34090-34090.7 of the California Govern-
ment Code, the Chief Building Inspector of this City be, and he is
hereby, authorized to destroy the following records, documents and
papers in the possession of the Building Inspector's office of this
City:
Structural calculations and concrete and steel tests.
2. None of said records, documents and papers constitute
records affecting the title to real property or liens thereon,
court records, records required to be kept by statute, or minutes,
ordinances or resolutions of the City Council, or of any City board
or commission.
3. All of said records, documents and papers are more than
five years old.

does hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 19 day of January, 1976, and was
adopted thereafter by the following vote:
