CERTIFYING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
FOR REZONING OF 911-915 EL CAMINO REAL
FROM R-1 TO R-3
EIR - 48-P
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970
(Public Resources Code, Sections 21100, et seg.) provides that
local governmental agencies shall make written environmental im-
pact reports on any project they intend to carry out which may
have a signficant effect on the environment; and
WHEREAS, members of the public and other concerned parties
must be given an opportunity to provide input both in the making
of the report and the ultimate decision upon the application based
in part upon that report; and
WHEREAS, Draft Environmental Impact Report EIR - 48-P,
concerning the rezoning of 911-915 E1 Camino Real from R-1, single
family dwelling district, to R-3, multiple family dwelling dis-
trict, was posted, given legal notice of hearing, and heard by
the Burlingame Planning Commission on October 26, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame Planning Commission
adopted Resolution No. 14-77 recommending Environmental Impact
Report EIR 48-P; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report entitled and
numbered as set forth above has been prepared and filed in the
office of the City Clerk of this City, and set for hearing before
this Council; and
WHEREAS, a copy of said Environmental Impact Report was
posted at the place, and a notice of hearing was published in

the form and manner, and at the times heretofore provided by this
Council; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of November, 1977, at the hour
of 8.00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the
City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of California, said
time and place being the day, hour and place fixed by the City
Clerk for the hearing upon said Environmental Impact Report, the
City Council did hear and pass upon said Environmental Impact
Report, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were
heard, and evidence, both oral and documentary, was received from
all persons desiring to introduce evidence;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED that the Environ-
mental Impact Report designated above, as the same was prepared
and filed with the City Clerk, be, and the same is hereby, declares
to be the Environmental Impact Report required by law to be made
by the local agency, and it is hereby certified by this Council
for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 21st day of
November, 1977, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
