AWARDING CONTRACT
WEED ABATEMENT - 1977-1978
Job No. 77-22
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for bids
for 1977-1978 weed abatement; and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 1977, all bids received were opened before
the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, PLANT GRO CORP. submitted the laciest bid for said work in
the sum of $9,981.20;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the
bid of PLANT GRO CORP. for the sum of $9,981.20 be and the same is hereby
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the
performance of said work and that the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said con-
tract and to approve the faithful performance bond and labor and materials
bond required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 17 day of October, 1977, and was adopted
thereafter by the following vote:
