AWARDING CONTRACT
WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
JOB NO. 77-2
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation for water
system improvements; and
WHEREAS, on August 30, 1977, all bids received were opened before
the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, KRZICH PIPELINE ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC., submitted the
lowest bid for the work in the sum of $237,698.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the
bid of KRZICH PIPELINE ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC. for the sum of $237,698.00
be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the
successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the
performance of said work, and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract
and to approve the faithful performance bond and labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.
