CERTIFYING ENFIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
FOR CHARLES KING AND ASSOCIATES PROPOSED
OFFICE CENTER AT 1350 BAYSHORE HIGHWAY,
BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA

WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (Public
Resources Code, Sections 21100, et seq.) provides that local governmental
agencies shall make written environmental impact reports on any project they
intend to carry out which may have a significant effect on the environment;
and
WHEREAS, members of the public and other concerned parties must be
given an opportunity to provide input both in the making of the report and
the ultimate decision upon the application based in part upon that report;
and
WHEREAS, Draft Environmental Impact Report, EIR - 40P was posted,
given legal notice of hearing, and heard by the Burlingame Planning Commission)
on July 25, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame Planning Commission unanimously
adopted Resolution No. 5-77 recommending Environmental Impact Report EIR -
40P; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report entitled and numbered as
set forth above has been prepared and filed in the office of the City Clerk
of this City, and set for hearing before this Council; and
WHEREAS, a copy of said Environmental Impact Report was posted at
the place, and a notice of hearing was published in the form and manner, and
at the times heretofore provided by this Council; and

WHEREAS, on the 15th day of August, 1977, at the hour of 8:00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Burlingame, County of
San Mateo, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and
place fixed by the City Clerk for the hearing upon said Environmental Impact
and which hearing was continued to September 6 1977,
Report,/the City Council did hear and pass upon said Environmental Impact
Report, at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard were heard, and
evidence, both oral and documentary, was received from all persons desiring
to introduce evidence;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED that the Environmental Impact
Report designated above, as the same was prepared and filed with the City
Clerk, be, and the same is hereby, declared to be the Environmental Impact
Report required by law to be made by the local agency, and it is hereby
certified by this Council for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.

certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 6th day of Sept. 1977, and was adopted there-
after by the following vote:
