RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING APPLICATION
FOR FEDERAL AND STATE GRANTS FOR PUBLICLY
OWNED WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS AND PRO-
VIDING CERTAIN ASSURANCES
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that
the CITY MANAGER is hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and
on behalf of the CITY OF BURLINGAME, an Application for Federal Assistance
under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C., 1251,
et sec.) and any agreements or other documents necessary to secure and receive
a grant under said act, and a state grant under the Clean Water Bond Law of
1970 and/or 1974 for construction.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Burlingame hereby agrees and
further does authorize the aforementioned representative to certify that if
grants for its project are made pursuant to the aforementioned federal and
state statues, it will comply with all applicable state and federal statutory
and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Assurances con-
tained in the Federal Grant Application and the State Grant Contract, The
Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. 552, as amended, relating to the right
of the public to obtain information and records, The National Historic
Preservation Act of 1966, U.S.C. 470, et seq., as amended, relating to the
preservation of historic landmarks, The Copeland (Anti -Kickback) Act, 18
U.S.C. 874, 40 U.S.C. 276c,and the regulations issued thereunder, 29 CFR 3.1,
et seq., and The Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, 40 U.S.C. 327,
et seq., and the regulations issued thereunder.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 20th Day of June 1977, and was adopted thereafter
by the following vote:
