RESOLUTION! DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE AND
ABANDON ALLEY AND EASEMENT BETWEEN LOTS 32
AND 33, BLOCK 50,EASTON ADDITION) NO. 4
RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame:
1. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the
intention of said Council to vacate, abandon and close that certain alley and
easement situated in the City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of
California, between Lots 32 and 33, Block 50,Easton Addition No. 4, retaining
therein an easement for a storm drain and sanitary sewer lateral.
2. For particular description of the alley and easement to be
vacated hereunder, reference is made to that certain subdivision map on file
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, entitled, "MAP OF
BLOCK 50, EASTON ADDITION NO. 4," wherein the alley and easement proposed to
be vacated is colored in green.
3. The City Council hereby elects to proceed under the Public
Service Easements Vacations Law, Sections 50430 through 50445 of the Government
Code of the State of California.
4. Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the 16thday of
May 1977, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., at the City Council Chambers in the City
Hall, 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, is hereby fixed as the time and place for
hearing of persons interested in the proposed vacation of said alley and
easement.
5. The Clerk of said City shall cause this Resolution to be
Published twice in the San Mateo Times , a newspaper of general
circulation published in San Mateo County and circulated in said city, which
newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose.
6. The City Engineer of said City shall cause to be posted
conspicuously along the line of said alley and easement proposed to be vacated
Notices of Easement Vacation. The notices shall be posted not more than 300

feet apart and at least three (3) such notices stating the time and place of
hearing and the passage of this Resolution shall be posted.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 2nd day of May, 1977, and adopted thereafter
by the following vote:

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Crosby
