RESOLUTION NO. 19-77
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO PROCEED WITH
PROJECT, DIRECTING NOTICE TO PROCEED, REQUESTING
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION AND DIRECTING STAFF
TO PROCEED WITH PRELIMINARY AND FINAL
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
BAYSIDE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
WHEREAS, this Council has received Phase One of an economic
feasibility study prepared pursuant to that certain Agreement for
Providing Economic Feasibility Study among the City, the Redevelop-
ment Agency of the City of Burlingame ("the Agency") and National
Feasibility Corporation, dated December 20, 1976, ("the Agreement");
and
WHEREAS, this Council has also received evidence of financial
responsibility of the proposed developers of the Project, and various
reports from the City staff and consultants, regarding said matters,
and is fully informed in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. This Council hereby determines to proceed with the Project,
and the Project Manager is authorized and directed to give notice to
proceed with Phase Two of the work under Section 3 of the Agreement,
such notice to be in form hereto attached and incorporated herein by
reference; said notice shall be accompanied by the $4,250 payment
as provided in Section 4 of the Agreement.
2. The Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame is
hereby requested in cooperation with the Agency to select an appro-
priate project area, pursuant to Section 33322 of the Health and
Safety Code, within the survey area designated by this Council in
Resolution No. 96-76, adopted December 20, 1976, and to formulate a
preliminary plan for the redevelopment of said selected project area,
and to take such further action as may be required by law to
consummate the Project.
3. The Project Manager, City Manager, Director of Public
Works, City Finance Director, City Treasurer, City Planner and any
other interested City officials are authorized and directed to assist
the Agency and the Planning Commission in selecting a redevelopment
project area, and to work and cooperate with the Agency, the Commission,
and the financial and legal consultants on the Project in the formulation
of a preliminary and final redevelopment plan for the project area
selected.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
of Burlingame, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 22nd day of February , 1977, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmembers: Amstrup-
Crosby-Harrison-Mangini
NOES, Councilmembers: Martin

RE: Agreement for Providing Economic Feasibility Study,
-Dated December 20, 1976, ("the Agreement")
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to proceed with Phase Two of the
work pursuant to Section 3 of the Agreement. Time for completion
of said Phase Two is hereby extended to May 30, 1977.
The project as to which said Phase Two work pertains is
