AWARDING CONTRACT
WASHINGTON PARK IMPROVEMENTS - JOB NO. 78-1
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for Washington Park Improvements (Job No. 78-1); and
WHEREAS, on September 12, 1978, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
WHEREAS, ANZA ENGINEERING CORP. submitted the lowest bids
for said job in the Base Bid of $14,983.00, and $S,000.00 for
the Entry Alternate (Item 7), and $8,727.00 far the Frontage
Alternate (Item 9), for a total bid of $28,/710.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED,
that the bids of ANZA ENGINEERING CORP. for said Job No. 78-1,
including Base Bid, Item 7 and Item 9, in the sum of $28,710.00
be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve
the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.

I, EVELYN H. HILL, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of
October, 1978, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
