AWARDING CONTRACT
1978 RESURFACING - JOB 78-5
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
for 1978 Resurfacing (Job 78-5); and
WHEREAS, on September 11, 1978, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; an<
WHEREAS, Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., Redwood City,
submitted the lowest bid for said job in the sum of $49,741.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED,
that the bid of FISK, FIRENZE & McLEAN, INC., for said Job No.
78-5 in the sum of $49,741.00 be, and the same is hereby,accepted,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf
of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract and to approve
the faithful performance bond and the labor and materials bond
required to be furnished by the contractor.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 18th day of
September, 1978, and was adopted thereafter by the following vote:
