HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 003-19781/11/78 1/17/78 that; RESOLUTION NO. 3-7B RESOLUTION RECERTIFYING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR CHARLES KING AND ASSOCIATES PROPOSED OFFICE CENTER AT 1350 BAYSHORE HIGHWAY BURLINGAME. CALIFORNIA EIR-40P RECERTIFICATION RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the City of Burlingame, California, WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (Public Resources Code, Sections 21100, et sec.) provides that local governmental agencies shall make written environmental impact reports on any project they intend to carry out which may have a significant effect on the environment; and WHEREAS, members of the public and other concerned parties must be given an opportunity to provide input both in the making of the report and the ultimate decision upon the application based in part upon that report; and WHEREAS, Final Environmental Impact Report, EIR-40P was certified by the unanimous adoption of Resolution No. 77-77 at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of September, 1977; and WHEREAS, that certification of September 6, 1977, and the recerti- fication by this resolution do not commit or obligate this Council to the approval of any project discussed therein or hereafter proposed; and WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of October, 1977, the Burlingame City Council at their regular meeting approved a variance and a special permit for the proposed office center project with specific conditions required in, or incorporated into, the project which mitigate or avoid the significant effects and achieve a quality project; and WHEREAS, upon completion of State Clearinghouse review, City received additional comments on the environmental impact report and has just recently responded; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED that the Environmental Impact Report designated above, and as previously certified, plus the two public agency letters and responses thereto, are declared to be the Final Recertified Environmental Impact Report required by law to be made by the local agency, and it is hereby certified by this Council for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame.
