RESOLUT]ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ICF
JONES & STOKES INC. TO PERFORM ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW SERVICES RELATED
TO THE BURLINGAME PARK SQUARE DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT 220 PARK ROAD,
BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, Burlingame Park Square LLC has submitted an application to develop a new
five-story mixed-use residential and commercial and adaptive reuse project at 220 Park Road;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed project would also include an adjacent City of Burlingame public
parking lot, known as "Lot E; and
WHEREAS, the project is referred to as the Burlingame Park Square Development at 220
Park Road; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Califomia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an
environmental review of the project must occur prior to consideration of the proposed
development of the Burlingame Park Square Development at 220 Park Road by the Planning
Commission and City Council; and
WHEREAS, ICF Jones & Stokes, lnc. has submitted a proposal to conduct the required
environmental review related to the Burlingame Park Square Development mixed-use residential
and commercial and adaptive reuse project, al22O Park Road; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared incorporating the Scope of Services
prepared by ICF Jones & Stokes lnc. in the amount of $350,902, which was found to be adequate
to provide the level of environmental review required for the proposed Burlingame Park Square
Development a1220 Park Road, and the costs associated with the services to be provided by ICF
Jones & Stokes lnc. are to be reimbursed by the applicant; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1 The City Manager is authorized and directed to enter into a Professional Services
Agreement with ICF Jones & Stokes lnc. for environmental review services related to the
proposed mixed-use residential and commercial and adaptive reuse project known as the
Burlingame Park Square Development prqect a|220 Park Road, consistent with the Scope
of Work attached to this resolution, for a maximum cost of $350.902, as stated in the Scope
of Work.

WHEREAS, the site currently consists of the former United States Post Office, which has
been determined to be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP); and
WHEREAS, because the agreement will authorize work in excess of $100,000, City
Council approval is required.
2 The City Clerk is d irected to attest to the signature of the City Manager upon execution of
the Professional Services Agreement.
