A. Statistics
Circulation is slowly increasing. Total circulation for both main and Easton
was 48,744 compared to 54,813 for May of 2014. Percentage difference was'
-5.92%. The library has purchased a new laser counter for both the main

B. Study Rooms
1. Reservation Policies - Brad reviewed the reservation policy for the 3
study rooms, Teen study room, Tech Lab and Upper Level Meeting Room.
Statistics are being recorded for each room. Study rooms are in use on a
regular basis. Demand will grow as more patrons become aware of the
new facilities the library has to offer.
2. Trustee Suggestions for Study Room Procedures
• Policies for each study room need to be clear to patrons.
• Print and post policies in a visible area. Include fee schedule.
• - Study rooms should have time limits.
•- Monitor patron usage to make certain, one patron does not
monopolize the room.
• Review San Mateo Library's policies.
• Post Study Room Reservation forms on-line.

VI. Unfinished Business
A. Our Library Our Future
The campaign committee is planning to have a ribbon cutting event in late
summer or early fall. This event will coincide with the completion of the
donor wall. At this time the City will be presented with a $ 500,000 check
which will fulfill the Foundation's pledge of raising $ 1 million dollars for the
project.
B. Joint Council Commission Meeting June 15, 2015
This meeting was cancelled due to lack of a Trustee quorum. The Mayor
will reschedule the meeting most likely sometime in September.
C. Donor Wall and Plaque
Pat Harding, Patty Anixter and Al Escoffier have been working with Michele
Savage of VKK to determine the layout of the plaques in regard to size and
material type, as well as making certain that all names are spelled correctly.
VII. New-Business
A. Summer Meeting Schedule
The Trustees discussed the possibility of canceling the July meeting due to
vacation schedules. Trustee Donaldson will e-mail the Board after
contacting Trustees Altmann and Nagler. Lisa Rosenthal will be on vacation
in August.
B. Trustee Website
Trustee Donaldson suggested that the Trustee Website should harmonize
with the City Website. Also, putting photos and short biographical sketches
