Present were: Messrs .Reynolds, Hall and Colby. Librarian's report was read and ordered filed. Bills to the amount of $2.587.71 were read and ordered paid. Miss Smith to write to Civil Service Commission to hold examination for Senior' Librarian at a salary of $250. retroactive to July lst, 1948. Miss Smith to reply to Mrs. McCorkle 's letter in regard to leave of absence. Miss Smith to employ two pages, Marion Patterson and Nancy Smith. The request of Mrs . Baldwin for the Delphian chapter to be allowed, but •not for more than a year. The request of the Girl Scout Council also allowed. $500. for Main, $100. for Branch appropriated for each of the next three months. There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
