January 5, 1949
A regular meeting of the Burlingame Library Board
was held on the above date. Present were: Mrs. Johnson,
Messers Reynolds, Hall, Fichtner and Colby.
The minutes of December 8, 1948 were read and
approved. The Librarian's report was read and ordered
filed.
Bills to the amount of $4013.57 read and ordered
paid.
It was voted that Miss Smith's request for 30 days
sick leave to February lst be granted.
Mr. Hall was appointed to interview the City Council
after first interviewing the Mayor and report to the
Library Board. He is to take up four disputed questions.
Mr. Fichtner was appointed to investigate lighting
in the library before a decision as to any change is
made.
$200.00 for new books to be purchased in January
was allowed.
Miss Smith was authorized to see to roof repairs.
There being no further business the meeting was
adjourned.
