RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF BURLINGAME,
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND US BANK NATIONAL ASSOCIATION ND
FOR CAL -CARD PURCHASE PROGRAM
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the use of a secure and controlled credit card program to make City purchases
would make many City purchases more efficient and cost-effective; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has established the CAL -CARD program with US Bank
to provide such a credit card system, which the City can join; and
WHEREAS, this program is used by both the State and many local agencies and has proven
to be well -supervised and accessible,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED:
1. The City Manager is authorized and directed execute the Agreement for the CAL -CARD
program attached hereto as Exhibit A by and on behalf of the City.
2. The Clerk is directed to attest to the signature of the Manager.
