FICHTNER, and Mr. TEAL Trustees Absent: None EIE CTION Following a welcome to the new members (Lss HARRISON to complete the term of Mr. RI MOLDS and Mr. TEAL that of Mr. RAYMOND -- both resigned because of the press of other business), Mrs. JOHNSON was elected President of the Board upon motion of Mr. FICHTNER with the second by Mr. BURNS. The Clerk of the Board was instructed to cast an unanimous ballot for Mrs. JOHNSON. TISTTMRS -The Board was 'honored by the presence of Mayor LOPE, Councillor ATWATER, and City Clerk 'WHITE. MINUTES The minutes of the meeting of February lst were read and approved. And the Librarian's report was accepted upon motion of Mr. BURNS with the second by Mr. FICH TNER. BILL Swarrants amounting toy; 06.79 were ordered signed upon motion of Mr. FICHTNER with the second by Mr. BURNS. OLD BUSINESS The fine schedule and the non-resident fee consideration was tabled until the next meeting. N3V BUSINESS Upon Motion of Mr. TEAL with the second by Mrs. HARRISON it was passed that the by laws be modified as follows: BY-IXT AT Art. II, sec r 3 -- "to take office in July" Art. V. sec. l "prior to July 31" MEETING DATE At this time, the Librarian pointdd out that an agreement to change , the meeting date to the' First Wednesday was in violation of the by laws; therein the date is set at the First Wednesday after the First Monday. PHONE BILL The Librarian stated that, by eliminating certain featuresof the " telephorie installation, P4-45 in monthly charges had:,-been eliminated. INVENTORY A discussion of book inventory procedures received the generous comments of Mayor LOVE and Councillor ATWATER. The Librarian agreed to pursue this recommended routine to discover its benefits.` There being no further business the meeting Was adjourned.
