HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Packet - LB - 1951.09.12 Minutes of the meeting of the BURLINGAME PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD August 15, 1951 Trustees present: Mrs. Harrison, Mr. Burns, Mr. Fichtner (Mr. Burns acting as Chairman) The minutes of the July 6th meeting were read and approved. Bills: Mrs. Harrison moved that the bills amounting to $1,498.97 be paid. Mr. Fichtner seconded this motion. The librariants report was ordered accepted upon a motion by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mr. Fichtner, and carried. The monthly financial statement was approved. Old Business: civil Service Commission--Ilr-s. Harrison moved that Mrs. Josephine Levering be appointed Junior Librarian. This motion was seconded by Ivir. Burns, and carried. New Business: It was moved by Mr. Fichtner, seconded by Mrs. Harrison, that a book be given to Mrs. Johnson in appreciation of her efforts in behalf of the library and as a partial payment on the money she has spent at various times on the library matters for which she will accept no reimbursement. /z, /95r1 Communications: None Adjournment: In consideration of Mr. Fichtner's 26th wedding anniversary, Mrs. Harrison moved that the meeting be adjourned.
