OLD BUSIAi LSS
After considerable discussion of the light replacement
situation, it was decided that the blueprint of the
scaffolding recommended by 11r. Marr be filed and that
funds be reauestec'. in the next bud-et for its construction.
This will allow the replacement of the fluorescent tubes
to be carried on under safe conditions.
The Librarian stated that the shelving purchased from
the Arses Co. had been erected in the basement and that
the crowded condition of our old magazines had been
alleviated.
Branch Drain: The Librarian also stated that at no time
this year has there be;n any water under the Branch
Library. lie has kept a careful check on the condition,
and he believes that as long as the soil level on the
left side of the Branch is kept below the stucco level
and the drain maintained unobstructed it will be un-
necessary to provide title or any other method for removal
of the eater. It seen<s if a simple ditch is maintained
free from rubbish or debris, there will be no water under
the Branch.
