Trustees present: Mrs. Johnson, her. Crosby, Mr. Burns.

The minutes of the previous meeting of May 13, 1953 were
read and approved.
BILLS
On motion by BIr. Crosby, seconded by Mr. Burns, the bills
in the amount of 61,622.19 were ordered paid.
LIBRARIAN'S REPORT
The librarian's report was accepted and the financial
statement was approved
COi ZFUJIi I CATIONS
A letter was received from Mrs. Jett requesting; two weeks
leave of absence in August. The Board decided that the
decision in the matter be left up to the librarian.
NEIN BUSINTSS
It was moved-by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mr. Crosby, that
the librarian be allowed to attend the Library Convention
in Los Angeles and that he be reimbursed in part if funds
are available.
It was noted with sympathy that Mrs. Harrison, President
of the Board, was absent due to illness. The members of
the Board expressed their wish that she would have a
speedy recovery.

It was moved by Mr. Crosby, seconded by Mr. Burns, that
the meeting be adjourned.
