Harrison, Mrs. Cohendet, Mr. Crosby, Mr. Burns, Mr. Car Mill. Trustees absent: None. MINLETES The minutes of the previous meeting August 17, 1955 were read and approved. BI LLS On a motion made by I;r. _Oargill and seconded by Mrs. Cohendet the bills in the amount of 41883.18 were ordered paid. LIBRARIAN IS R'w 'OR^1 The librarians report was accepted and the financial state- ment was approved and placed on file. OLD BUSIDLESS Friends of the Library. The librarian reported that due to the press of work, fie had contacted 1drs. Cohendet only be telephone and that she was prepared to meet with him to form plans for the future establishment of the Friends of the Library group.' The librarian stated that he had obtained the names of certain people who might be interested and that they would be contacted after a plan of action had been formed* Dedication of the Flaa. Par. Cargill has completed his research on early Trustees and the lists will be forwarded to the Auxiliary for their use in preparing invitations to the October 18th dedication. 'NEIN BUSINESS A letter to Hillsborou of regarding the cooperation of the City of Hillsborough in the problem of non-resident use of our library by the many high school students from Hillsborou2;h and by the Hillsborough residents who make use of our reference facilities and vh o do not have non-resident cards was discussed. It was decided that such a letter should be written after consultation with those patrons of the library from Hillsborou7h who are interested in some form of cooperative agreement between the two cities in regards to the library use. Announcement of Board meetings. The librarian was instructed to inform the newspaper or future library Board meetings.
