Cohendet asked to be excused. Mr. Burns phoned that he could not make it. 1,1111T uTES The minutes of the previous meeting September 21, 1955 were read. and approved. BILIS On a motion made by ialr. Crosby and seconded by 'r. Cargill the bills in the amount of 5;:2,539,32 were ordered paid. LIBRARIAEIS REEFORT The librarian's report was accepted and the financial state- ment was approved and placed on file. OI:D BUSIP ySS Several people are being contacted concerning the Friends of the Library. The letter to the Hillsborough City Council is being formulated i with the cooperation of Hillsborough residents retarding the use of the library by Hillsborou residents. b!Pi; i3JSIN SS The _problem of adding shelf space was discussed and this study will be made to determine the cost of adding additional stacks.
